Three major types of birthmarks commonly found are as follows: 

• Macular stains: They are often known as salmon patches. Macular stains are flat. They show up usually on the eyelids and neck most often as light pink patches. Sometimes these skin marks fade out, especially those seen on eyelids during childhood, with age. Many of these, particularly those on the neck remain. (more…)
